Lauretta began her real estate career in 1989 with Esslinger Wooten Maxwell, a leading independent real estate broker in Coral Gables, Florida where she specialized in waterfront and executive estates. Her father was a well-known residential contractor in Coral Gables and it was only natural that her career path would lead her into real estate. In 1992, she obtained her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, held by only 2% of all Realtors nationwide.
In 1997, she and her husband relocated their family to Gainesville in order to move the headquarters of his family's three generation business to North Florida. She quickly shifted gears and joined Coldwell Banker M. M. Parrish Realtors. Lauretta has consistently been named to the Coldwell Banker International President's Premier, achieving an average of 25 million in annual sales and placing her in the top 1% of all Realtors worldwide. She is the top residential producer at Coldwell Banker MM Parrish and consistently a top individual agent in the Gainesville Alachua County Board of Realtors. In 2018, Coldwell Banker International instituted a new designation, Coldwell Banker Luxury. Agents had to qualify through sales volume and course study and Lauretta received her designation in November 2018. She also qualified for the Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation at the same time. Lauretta specializes in residential sales from the smallest condo to million dollar plus estates.
A graduate of Auburn University with degrees in Merchandising and Journalism, Lauretta married her high school sweetheart, Alan. She and her husband have three grown children. She believes that to be successful in real estate you have to be fully engaged in your community. Besides her fulltime real estate career, Lauretta has devoted time to the Junior League of Gainesville, the Children's Home Society (past president and member of the Board of Directors in North Central Florida), the American Cancer Society Cure by Design fundraising committee, Oak Hall School Parents' Association, a member of the Woman's Giving Circle of the North Florida Community Foundation and a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
Lauretta's goal is to represent clients who expect the highest level of professionalism and personal service - she defines "The Right Move In Real Estate."
